Box #2

Wednesday at school brought us another surprise. We were going about our regular buisness of teaching, and low and behold a suprise from home was received. Joseph's mom was kind enough to send us some goodies from home ( and kind enough to include a few goodies that my mom was kind enough to send me!)

We had to wait till we got home to open it, but after dinner, we dove in!

Joseph brought out his handy dandy knife. Past experience taught us to just go ahead and slice it open.

First, we pulled out the sweet note from his mom! Thank you Joseph's mom!

I think this was the gift from Buddy, Lovely white ear muffs, which will come in handy when the wind blows on us on our way home.

My mom sent me socks, they were her socks, so I guess now I have a piece of home and her. It took me a minite to realize they had already been worn! HAHA, But I love them anyway! Miss you mommy.

Finally a magnet for our refrigerator which was not for a take away food place in Korea. And a piece of Home, maybe we can take it to school to show the kids where we are from.

And now we have something else to occupy our time when we are home from school. We were able to download some old school nintendo games from the internet onto the computer, so now with our controller with a USB port we can now indulge in Tetris, Super mario Brothers 3 and Contra! Whoo hoo!

Ahhhh fiber one bars.... they don't make them in big enough boxes.

And to go with my taco seasoning, since they don't have hard shells here, we can now induldge in mexican night... i am truly excited!

And to put us in the spirit this month, even though we will be far from home, Mrs. Kelly sent us a cute little christmas tree and some mini ornaments to go with it!

Gotta love the King!

Me modeling the cute ear Muffs!

Joseph has been missing this ring since the day we came to Korea. He meant to put it back on after he washed his hands for the last time in North Carolina, and then promptly left it on the sink... so now it made the trip to Korea though air mail!

Joseph has been channeling his inner lumberjack, and the flannel was calling, it is really nice to have at school, because even in winter they have to open the windows to air out the school.... because of how the Koreans do the septic system, you NEED to open the windows. Plus the Kids are always hot because they are super energetic. This leads to teacher Joseph and Teacher Allison being Super cold all the time when teaching.... so we dress warm.

And My mom sent me sweaters.... for that same reason! Yeah warm clothes.

Joseph decided he too would mail himself home! Haha, this picture made me laugh so hard.

And to close out the evening we set up our chirstmas tree and put our presents under it. Our thoughtful mommys sent us wrapped presents for a later date, and we have still not opened them!

Thank you Again Joseph's Mom and My Mom! We love the goodies and it makes us miss you both even more!
